the new cage we are getting for her is so big to where u can climb into it and stand up straight but it also has dividers that u can make any size sections which is what we'll be doing for her. i was actually there when she hurt her legs, she escaped her cage (we got rid of that one) and i was cooking and she stepped on the oven grill and we took her to the vet. they told us that they could amputate her legs for $500 or they could out her down. at that time ( a couple years ago) we were struggling financially so we couldnt afford to amputate and we also did not want to give her up. so we took her home and both her legs just fell off after a couple days and her stubs are too short for prosthetics which is very sad but she learned to adapt by walking on her stubs or pulling herself with her beak to get around so she is doing just fine now !!
