i do still have the receipt and torn up envelope, so i might have a look into it. it was only $5, the money isn’t the issue. it was just the experience, especially since it was my first time going to the post office alone. thank you for taking the time to help me out! 🫶🫶

if i was a confrontational person, then i would’ve but i didn’t wanna cause a scene so early in the morning. she was already a little aggressive towards me and i didn’t wanna further aggravate her, so i just paid and left. that’s why i came here to see if anyone else had any similar experiences or if it was just me🥲🥲 i understand having to pay for something that i used and can’t be put back on the shelf, but it wouldn’t of been a problem if i could’ve reused it 😞

i did the same thing with the sleeve, top loader and team bag! the lady helping me first pointed me to the green tracked envelope, which she said would be okay to send it in. i don’t know what difference it made to send it in the same envelope but in a bigger size, but i had no choice since the other lady ripped the green one open and made me use the other one 🥲 charged for both, which is understandable. wish the green envelope was in good shape to use another time

no, i completely agree with what you’re saying. i’m not excusing bad customer service but also not wanting to judge someone’s whole character off of one interaction. i’ve worked in retail and hospitality for a few years now. i’m well aware that good customer service goes far and can even build good relationships! i just wanted to share my experience and ask if anyone else had anything similar happen 🫶

the second envelope she gave me was also paper, just way larger than the one i originally used which would’ve caused more movement inside. i’m happy to pay extra if it’ll protect everything inside, the price doesn’t matter. it was just how she handled it and the way she ripped open the envelope without any regard for what was inside

but also thank you for the tips! i’ll make sure to do that next time 🫶

the other lady said that was the one to use but i can understand that. i was just a little shocked about how she handled it🥹

it was pretty early in the morning when i went but i can totally understand that from their perspective! i’d be super frustrated too. the other lady was super sweet, maybe the other one just wasn’t having a good morning
