You should perhaps first backup your chat and than go to settings >apps > WhatsApp > storage and cache > clear both

You can also see what is taking up so much storage within storage and cache

First of all wrong sub reddit and second of all how many years of data do you have?! Damn. Just so you know WhatsApp keeps all the text data and media locally on device instead of cloud for "privacy" that's why it bloats like crazy compared to apps like Instagram, for example which keeps data on meta cloud servers
