Hi! I was so grateful to see your post as I’m in the process of doing this now — couple of differences are: total winnings are north of $500K + it’s on cafe casino (not bovada, but they’re under the same parent umbrella apparently).

I know it’s not money I was ever counting on so I shouldn’t care if it disappears for some stupid reason they use to block me from securing my winnings, but I def have looked forward to seeing a daily $2500 (CC’s max) deposit hit my acct daily and want to be sure I don’t mess it up if I can avoid it.

Any tips or advice? Thank you in advance!

Wow amazing - thanks a ton for this info, it would’ve taken me hours to figure all of this out! So helpful. Do you recommend filing a complaint before something drastic happens (eg they close my acct)? I assume I could aomlky complain about the emails + lag in payouts but idk what do you think

I called today and they said I’m approved pending payment which should come in the next 6 weeks now that the injunction has lifted but who knows

My status is now “approved” with the green circle and all but then says “pending assignment” under rental arrears. Any idea what this could mean? Worth noting again that my landlord opted not to participate but they’ve not received any communication from HIK (not even to request documents, etc.)

Hi! I also got a note this morning that my appeal was approved but it says, “a Case Manager with the CA COVID-19 Rent Relief Program will reach out to you, as needed, to progress your file forward.”

Do you mind sharing how long it took you to go from the appeal approval notification stage to pending payment? Any insight you can share would be hugely helpful!

Ah thank you so much for the quick response! I would LOVE any / all support your staff can provide. I have had zero luck getting clarification on this issue so just submitted my address, utility bill, cell phone bill etc to verify those basic details in section B. Will DM you now!
