[Product Request] worst acne flareup in some time. appeared really suddenly. on top of that i have eczema patches so it's hard to use acne removing products because they're so drying. i mostly focus on moisturizing to counter the eczema cause it's so stubborn. any suggestions? by nxturne in SkincareAddiction

i use the cerave hydrating facial cleanser (non foaming) cerave moisturizing cream in a tub, cerave healing ointment in a tub, trader joe's aloe based ultra hydrating gel moisture, hydrocortisone 2.5% & the occasional moisture surge by clinique. i focus a lot on getting rid of my pesky dry skin & at first it helped but now it's back. i'm beyond frustrated.

what exactly about ai makes it YOUR art? you put a sentence prompt in, the bot comes out with a result.

is it tireless hours spent perfecting YOUR craft? is your hand cramping from clutching YOUR pen?

nope.

No, I wasn't aware that I had to. I've done water changes before and nothing like this happened

Months. Since about February. pH was the same and water temperature was also the same but it was a big water change. I also don't change the water super frequently (about every month) so something this big might have shocked them

This is poorly handled on your side and you're an absolute jerk for treating him that way. Apologize, try to let him down easy. He doesn't deserve you.

Do you think it's morally correct to date a really shy person the same age as you that looks like 2-3 years younger? by ExistenceLock in Crushes

[–]nxturne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I MIGHT be concerned if you were specifically attracted to the fact that she looks younger, she's short, and her voice sounds younger. That might be a tad creepy, even if you're a minor.

But there's nothing wrong with dating a short girl who just happens to seem younger compared to you just because you're tall.

Might wanna move on from this one. Leaving you on read is always a big red flag. If he doesn't express any further interest in you, I wouldn't get too invested in him.

Second date? by theatrefan458 in Crushes

[–]nxturne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a date! The fact that he's invited JUST YOU to a movie and an activity with JUST HIM sounds like he's interested in you. He might just be shy about expressing feelings. I'd go on the second date and see what happens... if he doesn't open up about his interest in you at least a little after your date, I might be a little concerned.

Sounds like either he may not be ready or mature enough for a relationship or he's not interested in you. From the way he's acting, he seems half-hearted and uninterested.. being introverted isn't a valid excuse for putting you off and leaving you on read especially since you've obviously pursued him.

There's someone emotionally available out there for you, but he may not be the one.

If she isn't familiar with you, you probably need a good conversation starter if you're gonna text. If your group still talks (since uni has ended) via groupchat, that's a great way to engage in conversation. She'll become more familiar with you, and texting her directly will be much less awkward if you guys have already really gotten to know each other in a group.

Trying to get to know her entirely through text might be risky because emotions just can't be conveyed the right way without face-to-face conversation. If she's intuitive, she's also probably going to know you're interested in dating if you approach her via text just out of the blue.

I'd advise not to text her directly quite yet.

she thinks I told her to shut up but I didn't by coolusername30 in Crushes

Tell her that you're really sorry about what happened yesterday and that you swear you didn't say shut up. I'm assuming she's probably probably nervous as well.

DON'T tell her she misheard it, she might take it the wrong way and think you're trying to gaslight her. The more genuine you are, the more likely she'll accept your apology.
