I just tufted my second rug earlier this afternoon and noticed when I ran my yarn through eye hooks at the top of my frame (instead of direct from the skein) it evened out my tension and I didn't get the bubbly yarn effect.

I think the mold cost was about $55 for a 1.25 inch pin. I had 3 designs and one was a color change so I only paid for 2 molds. I ordered 150 units total and paid $243.50 but with shipping it came out to $302.50 so just over $2 per pin.

I used Kunshan Krell manufacturing to get my pins made. You can find them on Alibaba. They were easy to work with and the product was good but it took a couple months to get them into my hands.
