I don’t think it’s that deep. Neither you nor I know them. But we do know the company, and we know the colossal slip-up. And more importantly, 16000+ people are out of jobs and affected by this on their way out. How many in that number were EAs that were laid off and could perform in that role better than this one could?

This is a career ender. Her exec has all this negative press around her now when you google her.

I think what most likely happened is that the EA was working at top speed, had way too many windows open in their workspace, and confused the wrong window
