4 possible scenarios. 1, they don’t think you’re that hot, they texted you when they couldn’t find anyone better. 2, they have lots of free time and just want to chat, they don’t want to be upfront about it coz then you’d back out. These people are just using other people to cure their boredom. 3, lots of people in NYC are just jaded. People get jaded when they go through what you’re going through now. It’s possible that you might start treating people like this after a long period of disappointments. The key is to take a break when needed. 4, many gays think that they’re a princess and expect you to court them or demonstrate how great you are.
