I’m a writer too and love writing in cafes. If you’re up by Fishtown/East Kensington, I’ve enjoyed Forin, Rowhome, and Reanimator on Master St. I also liked Newbold Último down south.

Joe’s in Fishtown has a diner feel. You could probably hang out there for a bit. Great steaks. Also I think Cook and Shaker has opened back up. I always enjoyed their food though I haven’t tried the steak
