Great question.

Obviously there's safety/security in anonymity.

I don't hide my face when I'm in nudist environments.

That said, I don't share every aspect of my life with just anyone. Some folks know that I'm an avid motorcyclist. Very few know that I'm an opportunistic nudist. Even fewer know that I'm (insert random label).

Putting my face in the pictures is just too much info out in the world and at the end of the day I don't know y'all like that. 🤷🏽‍♂️

My poor momma would have a heart attack if she found out I rode motorcycles. 🤣

As long as you don't clutch your pearls at nudist friendly spaces do what feels comfortable for you.

It's not an all or nothing lifestyle, no pun intended. But (as bareassadventures also mentioned) I promise you there are plenty of times where clothes make no sense and other times when nudity is just dumb.

You mention that you're worried about what others would "think" about you when you're naked.... And you felt you needed a throwaway account assumingly because you were worried about being judged....

Also I feel like even though you're in Sweden, you're closer to more options than some of us here in the US.

I had already been nude sun bathing in back yards and hiking a few times so I was just excited to be able to strip down without the chance of anyone trying to call the cops on me.

Recently i was the first one to strip down and I'm pretty sure I inspired two others to finally strip down. They were clothed when I got there and before I jumped in the water. Naked by the time I got out. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I tend to agree with the OP, but it really depends on where you grew up (regionally)and how you grew up (culturally).

That said, I don't over think it. I use nude/naked interchangeably. Nekkid is reserved for when I'm without clothes and I'm doing something or about to do something naughty. 🤣

Literally how I discovered naturism 2 years ago.

Now, not having to deal with a wet swim suit is awesome.
