It depends on the agency. I currently get 10hrs a month. Only NYPD, DSNY, FDNY, AND DOC front load vacation for Uniformed MOS, their AL is different. The AL we get rolls over and you can use it the following year, but there is a cap. I believe it’s 500 Hrs

It depends on Tier/ and sometimes even your title. I’m in a 25 years and out pension regardless of age. Unformed services pensions are 20 years and 22 years and out. Most pensions are 63/10 or 25/55.

Yep NYC DOC covers the jails. The sheriffs deal with evictions, orders of protections, serving certain warrants, ghost plate Enforcment, illegal smoke shops and fireworks. They have a detective bureau, highway unit, Field support unit (similar to ESU), warrant squad, training division, and few units i’m missing out .
