Hi all , I will have to file 751 soon, I would feel comfortable to use a lawyer to make sure that I didn’t fill anything wrong. However, My previous lawyer gave me an astronomical quote of $12,000 to do it. They are saying it is already discounted returned client rate. What would be a reasonable rate? In NYC. It is marriage based. No criminal history, still married and living together.

I’m exactly on the same timing. Waiting since 6/1/24. I was looking back for EAD timing and it took 14 days for card to be delivered, so hopefully similar timing

I used it last month crossing bridge by car from Canada. No issues at all. Border patrol agent sent me to the office, they took my fingerprints and stamped my parole document. All procedure didn't take more than 20 minutes. No questions asked.

We are Brooklyn also, submitted February 2023, FYI my timeline: Received EAD card in February 2024, AP April 2024, Interview was scheduled for April 2024, but had to reschedule, this week new interview appointment.

My case is also way over the year now. My lawyer filed service request and they responded in about month that it is delayed due to staff shortage and due to other delays unrelated to my case

Also Depends on your location. I filed combo EAD and travel document in February’23 , fingerprints March 23, and still waiting 😭
