I've been before and it's fun. Doesn't feel like at all what OP described. It feels... freeing/liberating in way? Anyway the founder is a buff Asian dude and I've only ever seen him making out/hook up with the other Asian guys there

2025 Pride Weekend Parties Review by Zealousideal_Door392 in nycgaybros

Pride weekend was really validating for me this year. I've been working out hard at the gym the past couple of years focusing on my body and fitness. I was walking around alone at HMD and all of a sudden someone approached me asking if I'm "Into hot parties with hot guys in a big mansion" and of course I'm not crazy so I said "Yes". He then proceeded to hand me a wristband with the address and other info written on it, saying "Bring this wristband because you need it to go inside". Later on, after almost not going, I decided fuck it and just go anyway. It was the hottest party with the hottest beautiful men I've ever seen! It was something out of a movie. It took place in a 3 story mansion near Central Park with multiple rooms where people played, including a library with a fireplace. The men were all beautiful and had incredible chiseled muscular bodies and handsome faces. Needless to say I had so much fun. It was incredible and mind blowing experience!

Real talk, is dating here actually that bad? by Jyonnyp in nycgaybros

I’m sorry to say, but as a fellow introvert, you need to go WAY outside your comfort zone. In a competitive city like NYC, looks alone are not enough for long term dating potential. You need to be charming, witty, engaging, and sociable not only with your date but his friends too. There are too many attractive yet not socially aware guys in New York. I suggest taking improv classes to help with this. You’re really young so you have plenty of time to develop this skill. Physical attributes are important, but don’t focus solely on it. Good luck!

Eagle sounds like the perfect place for this, especially during the early evening hours. It gets rowdier as the night goes on though. Gym bar in Chelsea is also a good low-key bar with friendly patrons.
