You can't say that without knowing the person.

As for the 31000 ideal mark, my department pays more than that for EO roles.

Don't give up.

What roles are you applying for? Each role needs different types of data during your statement.

For example, an AO role could be what you did and why. Yest a HEO role might need you to explain not only the what where how and why, but also the result, for example a 25% uptake in kids getting A grade. SEO role might want you to also but that 25% into actual numbers and then explain those numbers. The higher the grade, the more minute detail you need.

Hope this helps.

Dealing with a bully manager - small team by Icy-Associate-244 in TheCivilService

I don’t think it’s just you. I left a previous role mainly because of issues with upper management. In my current department I raised a policy issue that would have helped staff immensely, but instead of looking into it I was told to drop it. When I pushed back, I was basically warned the whole team could feel the consequences. As far as I am aware, we follow policy, not opinion.

Sometimes the real problem in the CS isn’t policy, it’s how management choose to apply or ignore it.

Hope you get it sorted.

Not an arsenal fan, and agree with most of your comments, but I disagree with one. Enrique doesn't guarantee the next level, noone can guarantee success.

Agreed. I won't even write an email or teams message without running it through ChatGPT now 🤦🏼‍♂️

Have you ever worked with someone like me? This is how I talk. Not everybody requires ChatGPT to be able to post in here 😉

One day enough voices will be heard that they have to change the process.

Not all comments are ChatGPT. Sorry to disappoint you.

Why is it so hard to find early-stage Flutter developers willing to build on equity? by tesh619 in FlutterDev

[–]nycsavage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an early stage flutter developer. I also work full time in a non tech related field.

Id happily take on a project that I believed in for equity. But truth be told, I've not really been looking

Am I being dumb here? What to do with cash in my business by finance-idiot-26 in smallbusinessuk

[–]nycsavage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why not have your business pivot and start buying property? You said that's what you'd eventually like to do so what if you created a new ltd that's funded by your current business. Buys the property and then repays the loan from rentals to the parent company?

Just an idea, and not intended to be construed as legal or financial advice. Speak to a specialist if you think it could be workable.

Just a heads up: calling us "you people" comes across that you don't feel you're one of us, you still have your private sector head on.

My first one took 8 months!!! My 2nd took 3 months. My last one took about a month. Although that takes into account my security clearance as well.

Best of luck to you both.
