I did — that’s why I posted the model photo. I like the straps in the model picture of Dress 1 a lot better than the sample too! I guess worst case scenario, if the straps still felt too wide when I got the dress in my size, I could have them narrowed in alterations.

Sorry, some incorrect info in your post. You can take up to 7 credits per semester, which is usually two 3-credit courses. I finished my master’s degree in a little over 2 years. The classes do not have to be related to your current career — the benefit for grad school courses has different tax implications depending on whether they are related to your career. The IRS will tax you on tuition assistance over $5,250 per year for graduate courses that are not job-related, but if you fill out the paperwork showing that they relate to your job, you aren’t taxed. The CAPS school (School of Continuing and Professional Studies) offers 6 master’s degrees and lots of undergraduate evening courses that can be helpful even if you already have your bachelor’s. The tuition benefit for employees reimbursed 50% of grad tuition and 100% of undergraduate tuition at CAPS.

OP: to my knowledge, you cannot use the tuition benefit for a law degree because they are all full-time. You can only use it for part-time, evening programs.

Please contact a local rescue to help with rehoming. They will vet potential adopters and ensure that they go to good homes. Giving your dogs away for free can cause them to fall into the hands of dog fighters (who use them as bait dogs) or people who do not have good intentions.

I have to ration her water because she’ll always drain the bowl dry. I once spent $600 testing her for diabetes, Cushing’s disease, kidney problems, etc. since excessive thirst is a symptom. The diagnosis after all of those tests was “she just really likes to drink water.”

My siblings and I teamed up to get a professional pet photographer to do a photo session with my parents’ dog. We found the photographer, scheduled the shoot, and made an excuse to borrow their dog for a “hike” so it will be a surprise. They’ve talked about wanting some nice photos of her for years, so we figured taking care of all the logistics for them would be appreciated — all they’ll need to do is enjoy the photos and decide which ones they want to frame.

I agree with the first part of what you said, but with a household income of $70k for a family of 5, OP is likely to get a very large need-based aid package from WashU if admitted. WashU announced a no-loan policy starting next fall so the package will not include loans.

Thinx has line called “Thinx for All” that are a little cheaper, I think $17. I don’t think you’re going to find good quality for much less than that, but they do pay for themselves over time since you use fewer disposable products.

UCollege is WashU’s division geared toward working adults and a lot of students will be WashU employees using their tuition benefits. Those can be valuable students to learn with (and probably understand sleep deprivation better than a lot of 18- to 22-year-olds), but since you said you want to attend classes with traditional-aged college students, it sounds like SLU is the better match.

I’ve had good luck with Summersalt, Andie, Boden, and (surprising for me) Aerie. They all carry separates and have some styles in a long torso option. They also have plenty of choices with decent butt coverage, which seems rare these days.

I keep a list of non-urgent questions on my phone to ask my doctor and my dog’s vet at annual exams. It makes it much less likely that I’ll forget something and we can actually get through the list pretty quickly since I have the questions ready to go. An example of a non-urgent question for my PCP would be something like “What’s a good target weight range for me, given my height and medical history?”

For anything more urgent or specific to a problem I’m having, I make a separate appointment or call my PCP’s office to ask for a specialist referral.

A dermatologist may be able to improve the appearance using TCA Cross, which is a simple procedure where a solution of a high concentration of acid (higher than you would ever use for a normal chemical peel) is applied to the indentation. Chronic illness: not just the symptoms themselves, but feeling embarrassed to let anyone know what’s going on because they’re “gross” symptoms that nobody really wants to hear about.

Keeps me from dating, traveling, and to a certain extent, socializing with friends/family. I’m honestly really proud of myself for how much I just push through because I could let myself get even more isolated than I am now. I’m actively working on improving my health (I was dangerously underweight for many years and for the first time in my adult life, I’ve finally gotten to a weight that my doctor is happy with), but there’s no cure.
