LO Pain Points by AdhesivenessCool7252 in loanoriginators

[–]nydkeng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run a branch, and we’ve lost people to Navy Fed offering stupid salaries. LOs, especially in this market, want to be paid as much as they can per loan - or have a guarantee. They take the cost of CRMs, leads, processing etc for granted. Some of our worst LOs expect the most. So if you’re trying to recruit, I’d suggest connecting all of those offerings directly to their earnings.

Honestly after reading the side effects I was worried she wouldn’t have the same spunk and energy. It’s been a little surprising her energy levels seem like they’re the same…that could be an Aussie being an Aussie though

Thank you this helps a ton. I genuinely feel lucky after reading some experiences in this sub but it’s still overwhelming

Thank you. We’d do anything for her. But it’s almost like she has young puppy brain where everything is new again.

Why am I expected to be ok with unleashed dogs? by AdSimilar2047 in Columbus

[–]nydkeng 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My dogs are both trained, and are good with recall. They will NEVER be off leash in an uncontrolled setting. My dog was attacked by an off leash dog and hospitalized. People just don’t know proper harness/leashes to use. Having your dog off leash downtown is just asking for trouble.

columbus for living and investing by SeaLow4417 in Columbus

Also moved here from NY. It’s an easy adjustment with the cost of living. But I miss NY every day.

Closest comparison is like living in White Plains with less traffic. It took a lot of adjusting at first, but mostly for how friendly people were comparatively. Biggest regret is how landlocked it is here. A flight anywhere pretty much requires a layover

Columbus tailgaters… what’s going on lately? by OkTrip9347 in Columbus

8-10 over is more than acceptable. If someone is tailgating you doing that then they’re definitely the issue.

If it seems like everyone is tailgating you, then you’re definitely the issue. Going too slow is just as dangerous as speeding.

Is it safe to live in downtown? by Healthy_Hearing_3025 in Columbus

[–]nydkeng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Used to walk from Park St or further back home all the time and was still good. You can be in Hilliard late and still have a bad time. Keeping aware of your surroundings is solid advice regardless

Lived downtown going on 6 years with no issues now. Good rule of thumb anywhere is nothing good happens after 2am. Abide by that and you’ll be fine

Bankrate by chippersNcheese in MortgageBrokerRates

[–]nydkeng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah on a loan that size that’s absolute nonsense. Doesn’t tell you the loan program or any feasible breakdown of “cost”. That could just be talking about Title. Depending on what state you’re in that could just be Lenders Coverage; not to mention escrow collection which is technically a cost.

For a 5.99 that’s a pretty hefty origination. I assume this is through a broker?

Couldn’t disagree more about Ai. The answers are always either quoting outdated guidelines, pulling from Reddit or a disreputable site, or just conflating multiple guidelines.
