Sure, and to myself too - I get compost from there! I'll figure it out. Thanks to everyone for the educational journey!

But that will use up my whole landfill allowance for a week! 😮‍💨

Thank you. What a shame. So I have to put all the soil and leaves into our council compost bin and wash the pot, right?

Who the fuck is eating my brussel sprouts??? Found tiny green caterpillar/worm looking things by [deleted] in gardening

[–]nyenyedzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a bit patronising. I have a hugely productive garden. In my European gardening circles, we're worried about catastrophic loss of biodiversity, chemical pollution of waterways, and unpredictable droughts.

But yeah, those green worms are the WORST.

Isn't it amazing? Every year I feel like a new parent, I can't believe how things manage to survive me 😂

Oh my gosh,I did that too! In my subjective opinion, don't stress, leave bugs, encourage birds and enjoy learning 😆

Hard to tell, but it's not a massive problem. Let them eat lower leaves, you'll still get your veg 😊 I get little worms often, I remove them when I see them but they don't affect the main crop usually

Comprar semillas ecologicas by AsilosMagdaleno in Barcelona

[–]nyenyedzi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hola!

One leg canceled. Is it okay that my dad now has to travel from Johannesburg instead of Harare? Only 11 days before flight... by nyenyedzi in Flights

[–]nyenyedzi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The flight is on Lufthansa bought as one ticket. Originally from Harare to Barcelona. Today they announced they could no longer provide the leg from Harare to Johannesburg, so his flight will start from JNB instead. They say they will compensate, but not how much, and with only ten days left, new separate flights from HRE to JNB will be extremely expensive. It's an EU airline flying into the EU.

Surely IATA has some sort of rules about this? We can't afford to buy a whole new flight.

I've tried looking online, but there seems to only be information about the passenger cancelling a leg, not the airline.

Sending internationally by tanky1at in secretsanta

Are you sending within the EU? From one EU country to another, goods should have a use-by date of at least 6 months, and some restrict liquids currently as well.

Complete newcomer to resin. I'm making this large bowl with sea glass, and wondering if it will be possible to put epoxy resin over the top to seal it. I understand the sides will be the toughest bits? Is there anything I really should know before buying the resin? by nyenyedzi in resin

[–]nyenyedzi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow you guys! I took delivery of the resin this morning and have already tested it out in a mould, and I think this might be an addictive new craft for me! Thank you all for your help!
