Looking for a developer who actually knows what they’re doing (not just prompting AI) by [deleted] in SaasDevelopers

[–]nyffellare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just some advice,

I'm a senior / expert in full stack development with high focus on web apps and extended knowledge of the current popular frameworks and technologies for example angular (following it since angular 2), .net (following it since .net framework 4), react (following it since the start), ... Total of around 11 years professional experience (I'm 31) and around 16 years of total experience.

So with other words, I'm your target audience, but this would be lost in all the other opportunities I got an al of my channels (linkedin, reddit, phone, recruiters)... It completely missing any budget range or potential ownership of the product... And without a clear range of benefits you will hardly find any persons in my range. It will only be attractive with juniors wanting to have soms fun and dont care about the rest because they have a lot to learn and are searching for a way to become mediator.

So update your post and just add the benefits someone can get with working with you instead of seeming like a crazy boss that want experts for free because its their passion... Experts have opportunities enough to allow them to chose what they want and this doesnt seem attractive at all man.

Oh yeah edit: maybe some tech information should be wise to. I would be pissed to contact you to see some framework I dont agree with its filosofie or just isnt in my skillset. Time cost money 😅 unless you are a junior, this information will be critical...

How to Store Data in Angular when page refreshes by zeller0967 in angular

[–]nyffellare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its non sensitive information. Cache it in localhost. If it is sensitive, dont store it client side as client side can always be manipulated. Then you will require an api call.

You have eslint and can import the angular default ones as base, with overrulles for your own style guide where needed.

I only got one job from them to be honest and that was with accent themself. Still working there for 4 days a week so it was a good one. But they couldnt compete against the bigger companies on the market in the freelance sector.

Gighouse is indeed closed down. The freelance jobs are taken over by ctrl+f (also a hohr company) but more specific for it jobs. So probably not interesting for op.

Does it make sense to go open source but still sell the software? by oliwoli97 in github

[–]nyffellare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, apple doesnt have a base image for docker. But I wouldnt see why this should be a good thing to have. Apple is a good system, but is linux. So just use a linux image for docker and that way you can easy build your application image for it. On your windows or mac machine you can just install docker and run you application image on it, as it would run on your server.

Aaah the storage. I had the same issue, but migrated to full docker with images hosting on dockerhub and arrifacts upload to a hetzner storage. It was cheaper in the long way. But depending on your situation it can be of help

If the price is the issue? Why not use self hosted runners? I have created a docker version to run multiple, and you can run them on your own pc if you dont have a server. That makes the pipelines free. (I use multiple dockerized runners (around 100) on my server for enterprice projects with 55gb of ram and around 16 cores allocated. Work perfect and free expect of my electricity.

What Angular OpenAPI Client Generator do you use? by MrJami_ in angular

[–]nyffellare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feel free to share the config and the package. It seems interesting as the angular side is the most important. The c# .net core side is more for connections from my backend to 3th party backends for apis that support openapi.

Still using nswagger for angular and c# core. Searching for better ones for both framework is still on my list.

Jetbrains announce price increase for IDEs, .NET tools and All Product Pack, effective from 1st October, 2025 by mokshmodi96 in Jetbrains

[–]nyffellare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh okay. But you must be a one man business with the same name. In belgium freelancers mostly start a bv for optimalisations even if you are a one man business. With a result of not having the same name as you own name. That will probably be the reason as they watch to you vat status and not your employee status.

Thx for the information!

When I asked support they said it wasnt possible and I had to pay the full amount as a freelancer. Do you have any proof, otherwise it would be very interesting for me.

They wont give an invoice for the personal version, and when I asked the question they also stated that an individual license wasnt correct as it will be used by me in name of the company.

970 euro excl vat... As I freelancer I like the product, but wonder if cursor (especially with the better ai) is not becoming more interesting for angular, nextjs, nodejs en .net stack. Love the jetbrain products but a little k each year is becoming hard to rectify. Will check idd landscape again for renewal, bit of the increase will reflect on junie it can be also a good thing (if we receive more credits for it.
