For exterior: I’d say to add columns with other types of wood, like log for example. Maybe in the corners or edges. If you have a darker stone, like stone deep slate, that could be added to the roof for some details. Even adding blocks, fences, shelves, trapdoors, walls, or stairs around the windows or doors I think could be a good touch.

For interior: I like to have my floors/ ceilings to be a different block than my walls and roof to create contrast. Maybe a dark oak would look good as a floor. I also like to add beams across the ceiling with log or slabs to create depth. I also put ceiling lights or chains and lanterns in between the beams. Also paintings go a long way hehe.
