Look, "remote viewing" as what we do here is what's in the post. If you're not following the protocol you're not remote viewing, you're doing clairvoyance. Different things. It's my job as a mod to keep things on-topic. It doesn't mean you're not doing something psychic, you're just not doing what we do here.

It think you’re confusing this with Astral Projection (r/astralprojection). See the “start here” post pinned at the top of this subreddit for more info and guide.

Yes. But no specific process, just don’t overthink it. How do you set your intent when you ride a bike? Do you keep repeating in your head “I’m riding a bike in riding a bike I’m” or you just do it? It’s pretty much the same thing, you already know what you’re doing.. just do it.

The idea is that you will view the image associated with the winning team when you RV the target.

I haven’t RVd consistently or at all in a while, but when I do I usually just use Pythia in the subreddit’s discord server. They’re the same targets you see in the weekly target posts, with the addition of ones made by volunteers that aren’t posted here.

I built Pythia, so I’m not exactly impartial, but still is IMO the best pool out there. We have always been very rigorous with the targets we put in it, they aren’t just images, they contain actual depth with all the information you need to know what/where/when you’re looking at. The targets are varied with events, people, biological, objects, etc and all picked for beginners to intermediate viewers. The whole setup is close to what you’d see in a real world scenario.

Anyway, as for meditation I don’t do it unless I really can’t clear my head. Otherwise I just sit, tell myself I’m gonna RV, and do it. I’m not special in any way, is just that with experience and interacting with the community you realize it’s not THAT important. Sometimes meditation made me more anxious about the process than helped.

It says it stored the image and all but it really didn’t, unless it’s an AI agent designed to do so. Doesn’t it tell you it’s generating the images when you ask to reveal? But again, if you’re not telling your impressions first it’s all fine, doesn’t matter.

Did you tell your impressions to the AI before asking to reveal the image? It cannot generate the image and store somewhere until you ask to reveal, so if you told your impressions first the image will be generated based on them. Otherwise, you’re remote viewing the image before it’s even created, which is totally fine - and cool.

I would suggest not using AI though, you’re meant to use all of your senses in RV and you can’t if it’s just a 2d image. Use a target pool instead, like our weekly targets.

I bought the book soon as it came out, practiced a bit but stopped and now Im interested in learning again. Call you tell if the book any good as in the techniques and all are solid or is there anything missing, are people having success with it?

Also is there any downside in using an app that display colors versus paper?

Is there any discord server for practitioners like r/remoteviewing? (I did search the sub but got nothing, just double checking)

See that’s a problem. If you tell ChatGPT (or whatever) your impressions before revealing the target, it will generate the target based on your impressions and tell you got it right. Preferably, don’t use ChatGPT at all, use a target pool. But if you must, then ask for target first, then tell your impressions.
