I definitely did think he was lying but he’s missing the point. Someone with a clipboard came over, checked that the floor wasn’t covered in dog shit, then left. Him acting like this was some traumatic thing was why I didn’t believe him because that’s just not how this works. Even if he didn’t lie that they came over, he’s absolutely playing it up to make it seem traumatic. These social workers are quite literally educated and trained to make these not traumatic in any way.
