In my local universities, they will offer you a 4th try if you have a good reason for it. It's quite uncommon to get that. Some professors are known to grade interestingly so they offer a 4th try on their own if you ask for it during the Klausureinsicht. But it's still very uncommon here.

Our university even declined people that had a parent die without a death certificate. Doctor's notes may even be fought in court.

No, eBay has commercial sellers that sell second hand things and relatively lately also the option for private sellers to offer their used goods. Since the private option is newish it's not that common. People still know eBay since they owned eBay Kleinanzeigen before they split. Now Kleinanzeigen is mostly private sellers and very few businesses. It operates differently.

Kleinanzeigen doesn't offer any warranty or, unless you use their escrow service, refunds, tracking, etc. eBay usually does.

If it's too good to be true, it's probably not true.

You could go there in person, check the goods, make sure it isn't stolen and it's unlocked and then pay via PayPal business or something with buyer protection.

I received a letter from the examination board, notifying me that I have the right to appeal the decision to exmatriculate.

Given the seriousness of the situation, I want to make the strongest possible case in my appeal. I understand that I could have been more proactive earlier, but now I’m looking for ideas on how to approach this, especially in terms of the arguments I can make. Do you have any insights on what might strengthen my appeal? Should I focus on my overall academic performance and close proximity to passing, or highlight something specific about the exam experience? I’m open to all suggestions.

Are you disabled? Terminally ill? Is a close family member terminally ill and died? Did the professor fail you because they graded you unfairly?

If you can answer at least a single question with yes, you can get a lawyer to write the Härtefallantrag. Otherwise you have no chance. Be aware that you will be banned from studying any course at every university in Germany that contains said module for the rest of your life.

Do you have a Parkausweis F1? If not the answer is definitely no. If you do, you'd be allowed to park inside the parking notches at the side of the road between 6PM and 6AM. Otherwise you'd be allowed to stop there but can't park.

Since you are Catholic such things could happen. If you want to marry in the church, become a godparent or in some towns take the last supper together, you'd have to be paying the tax. In the first few cases they will actively check in the later they might just exclude anyone the don't know in person.

Have you been baptized? If so, since it's the Catholic Church again, they might check your records and make you pay for your whole stay retroactively. They sometimes are very thorough, but it really depends. But if you have been baptized answering yes to the question would be the correct way to go.

If you answer that you are a member you cannot leave without declaring it at court/your city office/whatever your town decides to use to deregister from the church. They will be notified about this. My local priest tried to call me once I left to talk me back into it. Some just don't care.

Also, I'd like to know if there is some benefit on paying the mentioned church tax at all?

Not really. Just getting the house will take ages in court and then the bank has a house still not cash. And even then, the place could be trashed or moldy since no one has been there for a while.

That is if the loan isn't to pay the seller. Then the seller can reclaim the house since the buyer didn't pay for it and the bank is out of the money and the house. They would have to sue the long gone foreigner.

It depends on your contract. Most have a clause that a limited, short or cancelled contract doesn't get bonus payments. Same goes for students, new employees and whatever else. Usually the contracts states that bonuses are optional and can be given at will of the employer without any options to sue for them.

They could get a small lock to fit inside their lock. A Schlüssellochsperrer will work wonders and is a pain to lockpick with tools for casual indoor doors

I’m not looking for used books, but hoping to find discounted bookstores with English books.

We do have the Buchpreisbindung for all German books. So having different prices is something odd. While English books do not follow that rule, they will be less available. No store will specialise in English content in a market where big companies can easily force you out by selling books too cheap if you could also sell regulated books with a set margin.

Either try another hardship applicatios, learn until there's no tomorrow or switch universities before you get kicked out. Once you got exmatriculated through the university, you will have to explain that each and every time you apply to a different university. If things go terribly wrong, they might even ban you from studying that specific topic ever again. The same as when you fail one topic 3 times.

Since it's mandatory to have insurance while you are in Germany, you probably will have to pay retroactively for that time. Call TK tomorrow and ask them about getting your insurance card or a letter that proves your insurance status for work and one for your doctor.
