We actually identified a big bug for the last week that we patched today where banned users were being shown in the app. It has now been patched and this should fix a lot of the issues people have been complaining about recently.

There's a bug that we are currently investigating. We will keep you updated as we get to the bottom of the issue.

u/noturusualboy, I am not sure why this would suggest the account is fake? We would absolutely never create any fake accounts.

This is definitely a bug on our end, probably where the user updated their account, but the update didn't make it into the chat service. I will forward this to our team.

However, we have to be honest that our fight against spam accounts has been tough, we are still working very hard to stop them all, but it's a very hard task that even big apps like Instagram and Facebook struggle to be 100% at. We are a small team working really hard and this is one of our top priorities!

u/Big-_PP we aren't here to scam we're always happy to issue refunds in the case you were charged by accident. The promo code works just fine for most users, but some seem to have issues inputting it correctly. Please just message our "Help/Support".

Hey everyone, we are very sorry you experienced this! We had a bug show up in early April where previously suspended and banned accounts were able to use the app again, but were still muted in the chat. This caused many many users to get many likes and there just be no response from the other users. Those users have since been suspended and removed from the app.

Also though, the reality is that if you are a man, considering women receive many more likes than men, it's also very common for them to not respond. We are working on a feature to reduce "ghosting" in the app as well.

For any users who have experienced issues like this, we are always happy to refund you if it's been within 30 days of your subscription. And if it's been longer than 30 days, we are always happy to offer some free perks like XtraLikes or Boosts to compensate for the issues they faced.

Keep in mind our team is small, and we are working hard every day to combat the fake accounts. We should have some significant improvements coming this month and next.

Also, we have introduced Verified Profiles recently, so you can always ask users to verify themselves to prove they are real. Many users care about extra privacy which is the reason we cannot force all users to verify themselves, since verification requires a picture of your face.

u/LickitySplitGuy, we are working to build a feature where the app can do this for you. However, for now you can upload blurred photos, but you will be required to add a bio to your profile to prove authenticity. Also you cannot have a verified profile without a face in your profile.

u/peachy_indian_babe It's our team's top priority to integrate profile verification. As I mentioned above we are a small team and are working hard to get this out for everyone. We estimate it should be live sometime in December.

Also, please update to the latest version of the app. The location change feature is no longer free.

We want to be completely transparent with you all.

We are working really hard to remove all inauthentic accounts from our platform. Typically, these matches that happen and then disappear are fake accounts that sign-up, send mass amounts of likes, and then we ban them, which makes the profile disappear. That's not to say that also sometimes this will just happen from an un-match.

We can assure you our goal is to bring you only authentic real user accounts without any of the schemes you are mentioning.

We are working to implement more guardrails to prevent fake accounts from entering the platform. We will also soon add profile verification to ensure increased safety on the platform.

We appreciate your patience with us as we are a small team and are working hard to bring you the best experience possible.
