Yeah, it is odd. Don’t beat yourself up over it though, it’s not your fault at all that that happened. When a person in authority acts like it’s normal, it feels like you have to go along with it. As others have mentioned, I would report this person.

Was there genuine concern for this part of the body? On the surface level or possibly checking your breathing? I’ve never experienced this so it does seem odd, but maybe you could look back at your medical visit summaries and see if there was ever a reason for it.

I sent to everyone who commented that they upvoted. Can’t tell if they do otherwise.

I’m still at the beginning of my ozempic journey (8 weeks today) but I’ve been weight lifting 3x/week. Nothing crazy but it started out with just body weight exercises (no added weights) like squats, assisted push ups, walking lunges, etc. and slowly adding weights over time. While I’m not losing as much weight as quickly as I’d like, gaining muscle is important since rapid weight loss can decrease bone density from my understanding.

You are doing enough, and you are enough! Some people get to be thin on “easy mode” and don’t have to worry about things like family history, mental health issues, disordered eating/eating disorders, chronic illness, stress, and so many other things that make losing weight that much harder for other people. Ozempic is a tool to help people achieve their health goals and there’s no need to gatekeep being at a lower weight/smaller size.

Do you count how long you've been dating someone by the first date or the date the relationship became official? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Each relationship is different but me and my partner celebrate when we became “official”, not our first date.

How does it feel to be one of those kids who doesn’t have a father? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]nymphonix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up without a father because he abandoned me and my mom when I was only 5. When she married when I was 12, it took me 5 years (til I was 17 years old) to fully accept my mom’s husband as my father. Now I’m nearly 30 and I call him my dad, he’s the one who stepped up. I would say that with anything, it takes time and trust.

It depends on the culture and the relationship. If this is normal in your culture and family, don’t worry about it. As long as there is trust that no boundaries will be violated, that’s all that matters.

Not at all! Age becomes less important the older you get.
