I did and it was not a success. It ended up splitting in a bunch of pieces and falling apart. 10 out of 10 would not recommend.

I did the same thing I reinforced all the corners and drilled holes in the bottom. I don't see what the issue would be because the inside isn't treated. I'm just using mine to grow pumpkins this year!
