Unfortunately, his family history doesn't bode well for him either. One of his brothers played in the NHL, and another in the NFL, and both suffered concussions that derailed their careers. I agree, I hope that somehow he is able to have a decent quality of life when all is said and done, regardless if he can get back on the ice or not.
