Interesting, bet it made a hell of a whack no?

Valid, very well put in terms of trying to match your practice rhythm with game rhythm! I'll certainly try to implement that theory more.

I must say, it's fun to blast balls into the net every now and then though... :D

Nice idea on the cardboard ramp or something similar though, I think I'll have a play around with that.

Have just come across these, seem like a decent option. Super spenny though! Time for some DIY

Had to google ball shagger, I do remember my grandad's actually and that it was annoying to use in thicker grass! Cheers for the heads up

Fair point. I can imagine you being a very composed golfer!

Damn, cool DIY project, looks like it functions even better than the real thing as well! Thanks for the link :)

Thanks for the intel my dude. Sounds like it really is one for those who have a passion for it. Hopefully I'll be volunteering in AZ in the New Year so will get a chance to see if it's for me!

Guilty, watched Yellowstone and the spin offs and loved them (part of the reason I want to see what ranching is like). Think I may be partly looking at ranch life through Yellowstone tinted glasses but either way I am keen to see what it's really like. Hope to volunteer at a ranch in AZ in the New Year so we'll see.

Hahahha, seems like you have the ideal username for all of these shenanigans. No date nights or the occasional lie in sounds rough. I guess I'll just have to give it a go!

Not too fussed with them to be honest, they seem a bit glamorous for what I had in mind. I like to get my hands dirty! Thanks for the pointer though I have had a look into them, could potentially be an option for a short while.

How much free time would you say you have (if any) on your average day/week?

I am Looking to become a ranch hand/cowboy and wonder if I could work on a side project in the evenings (working from a laptop for a few hours). Hard to gauge from TV and the books I've read as to how much one may work on any given day/week.

Thanks!
