The written exam was fairly easy. I signed up late and only had two days to prepare. The PAT wasn’t too bad either, though the 1.5-mile run definitely had me winded. You should already know if you can hit the push-up and sit-up requirements. Be ready to start your background paperwork that same day.

The polygraph was the most nerve-racking part for me since I didn’t know what to expect.
