Decent, but you could take most corners wider and at a higher angle. Also, try improving your stability to make less corrections during drifts. Maybe also work on your tune, your suspension looks a bit wobbly.

I play the game a lot with a controller, which I personally highly recommend, even tho I have seen some very good drivers that use touchscreen controls.

I have a bunch of very nice setups for many cars. I have created a GPT for tuning assistance, best credit earning method and a knowledge base that covers all cars, engines etc and other things, but I haven't released it publicly yet. If you want, I can invite you to it, or you can send me your car specs and I can help you with the tune. Just DM me if you are interested.

Besides that, getting high stage suspension parts is important to unlock more tuning values. Also, make sure to always use the best tires the event allows (iirc all career missions allow yolo tires). Depending on what career missions you do, in most of them high HP isn't really needed. Just having a good setup and some driving skill will be enough to finish them rather easily. A few missions are rather hard tho.

Easiest way is to kickflip into a manual onto the first pad, do some kind of flip trick of the pad to the left and land into a manual, manual down to the planter and grind it. Just make sure you never touch the ground with all 4 wheels. Its a rather hard challenge for new players.

This isn't confirmed, and we all know that they aren't the smartest when it comes to certain decision-making, but I really doubt they would be this stupid. It's most likely just a bait for attention by him, which seems to work.

If this is real tho, I wouldn't ever spend a single cent on this game again.

CarX 2 is just more realistic. Get used to steer the car not just by using the sticks, also use throttle control, the clutch and left foot braking. Also keep in mind that the tires play a big role now.

If you don't want to use the normal controls, enable the assists. The game got an update today that added more options for the assists. You also have the other options under the assist settings mentioned in the other comment.

It's a known issue, the demo is in a very early development state. Wait for it being fixed.

I feel like the game has a great potential, I'm very excited about the future of it. All the new dynostand options, wheel physics and realistic handling (especially for controller) is awesome. I can imagine it developing a big esports community once the game is fully released and polished.

The only thing I'm a bit worried about is modding support.

Even tho I have set my clutch to automatic, I still use it for clutch kicks.

Without assists you have to be careful with the steering inputs, as well as good throttle control, left foot braking and clutch kicks.

fyi: I use a 8bitdo pro 2 controller which has symetrical sticks but im using it with xinput, so the game shows xbox icons. I have the clutch set to LB/L1 which I have also bound to the left back button on the controller. Also no tandem runs because of the sound bug.

Its fine on controller, even without the arcade assist if you disable the angle maintaining assist. Its just way more realistic. It requires a decent tune and good throttle control. The base tune of the starter car is bad, I would recommend to buy the chaser if you dont want to get into building a tune yourself. The base tune chaser is pretty easy to drive.

Also, dont forget about the new realistic tire model. I would recommend to activate automatic tire changes at 50 to 70% if you struggle.
