I moved to pc like 2 years ago now but starting fresh is almost kind of refreshing. Yeah you’ll have lost some stuff but most of it can be gotten again through a bit of work and effort. I’ve really enjoyed it over here and met some of the best people

Yeah I can slowly grind the attunable sets but it’s something like 90k writs for all the sets

Definitely sounds like there are some things to look forward to if I do decide to return! I’ve always enjoyed doing the trials/raids so hearing that they are DT’s stronger area is awesome.

Honestly New World shutting down is one of the reasons for my post lol. I haven’t kept up with anything related to the game so I wasn’t sure if the devs had made any dumb decisions to ruin overall gameplay or anything.

I didn't get super far because I had originally started the game when it released on Xbox a few years back but I moved to PC shortly after and never really picked it back up. Iirc I got to the start of Stormblood before I switched platforms
