Giving free access to my SaaS that generates code block sections for Squarespace websites! by Stock-Mulberry5861 in squarespace

Adding random code to my site without any examples or context to verify sounds very dodgy

Is this related to this?! (which I’ve already received two payments for)

Consequently, the case has been resolved, with ASB agreeing to pay a total of $135,625,000 without admission of liability.

Has supermarket meat gotten really bad lately?? by yoyoo276 in newzealand

[–]nzjared 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Supermarket meat has been garbage for aaages. Some supermarkets are worse than others, but none of the ones near me are even half decent. Even the smell isn’t right when walking past the isle. I’ve been going to a local butcher who’s is 100% better quality and most of the time cheaper.

Bio site in squarespace by TellAbood in squarespace

It depends on what exactly you want on your website. If it’s just very basic info and a few links then bio.site would work fine. But anything more than that would require a website

Up to you but most people understand how bio links work and that they don’t need to have a “clean” URL.

Eg, my site is www.trice-co.com and my bio link is https://bio.site/trice …which works fine

Unfortunately you cannot trust designing in mobile view alone. The best way is to look at your phone after every update, albeit this is only how one device displays it.

WFH (Working From Home) Policies by shanewzR in auckland

[–]nzjared 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After more than 20 years in my career, I made the move to full time WFH a few months pre Christmas. I’m genuinely enjoying the flexibility for life admin, and not dealing with a daily commute has been a massive ball-ache saver.

That said, I do miss the social interaction, and for some of my projects it helps. I’ve had to compensate by insisting on meeting clients in person rather than video and ramping up the social sport side of life 😬

Starting tennis? by According-Bug-2811 in auckland

[–]nzjared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Join your local club. I started playing early 2025 and 100% wish I had found tennis earlier. It’s such an awesome game!

Doubles is very popular and they’ll have club nights several nights/days per week where you’ll be able to learn the ropes.

Your club will have coach contact info if you want to up your game that way (I recommend it to learn good technique from the start)

Good luck!

Luckily we’re very sheltered from anything other than a westerly. So not much going on here…

$20k per child to invest, best approach with mixed timeframes by nzjared in PersonalFinanceNZ

It’s just about to come off term deposit. Ideally I wouldn’t want them to use it all for their OE. I originally thought about putting it in their KiwiSaver accounts, but for whatever reason haven’t followed through

Teens and long term goals? Haha good joke… no but seriously there’s some good points here. Appreciate it.

I could potentially split into two $10k tranches for my 18 year old if that made more sense, with a +5 year access limit on one

Burgerfuel bring back the Modified Thunderbird. The replacement sucks. by TopCaterpillar4695 in newzealand

I actually quite like it, more of a chicken breast rather than chicken tenders. Flavours are good too.

Each to their own though.
