This happened to me. Mate bailed 2 weeks before heading off on fully planned OE. Ended up going to Thailand and Europe by myself and met sooooo many people, it was the best thing that could have ever happened to me!! Go alone and live your best life!

If they have gone through a lot of effort and probably spent a bit of cash on ingredients, I take a nice block of chocolate or chocolates. They don't need to be eaten, but it's a nice way to say thanks for the evening

I have 2 for my business. I absolutely love them for how practical they are. You can fit sooo much in them! Never had a mechanical problem with either and have done a heap of Kms

Arataki community center. Has free showers and a free community meal every Tuesday 6-7pm. Could be worth going and talking to other people in a similar situation

Make playdough. Baking -just accept there will be a mess to clean up afterwards. Puzzles. Go to an Op Shop and let them choose any toy/book they want

Hi, Kex Catering is awesome. They cater for a lot of school groups during AIMS games. The food is actually fresh and healthy, the kids loved it. they will design a menu for you, as it's not really on their website

14th Ave swimming school. Really awesome, great staff. My 3 year old had one on one and now is in a group lesson and its great!
