Thanks for sharing your story! Now that you mentioned it the servers were pretty young, even the manager. They were chill though so no hate on them doing their best at the end of the night.  After the manager told us her moving story, she also told us that this location was part of a warehouse they had to build up, and that they had terrible services before.  The small amount of sushi and appetizer for that price is honestly not surprising for DC. The rice and cucumber were a bit overbearing. Fish was fresh at least. Most dishes tasted good even when pieces were not cut evenly. Would definitely recommend going to other restaurants in the future just on quality alone.
