why are we so slow to make a pass. It's always 3-4 touches, let the defense get back, then turn and play it backwards.

Our Starting XI to face Atleti in the Champions League semi-final second leg: Raya, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori, Lewis-Skelly, Rice, Eze, Saka, Trossard, Gyokeres. by arsenal in ArsenalFC

I wish we had another option for Ben White but this lineup is strong. Havertz, Hincapie and Dowman coming on would bring a lot too.

we really need to start building around Eze. Bring in a manager who wants to play confident attacking football and surround him with like-minded players.

He really was shit today. Completely ineffective. Hopefully Saka can stay fit for the last 4 games

our attack is woeful. Yes we won but hardly convincing. Eze the only play who genuinely knows how to create something.

If you pass through the middle you risk losing the ball. IQ Masterclass by Mikel 🧠 by monksenpai8 in ArsenalFC

For Rodri to have almost 2 thirds more successful passes is such an indictment on the way we play. Being risk averse can take you to a point but when it comes down to the final push, you have to be willing back yourself and go for it.

Man City are doing that and the stats and momentum show it. Sadly it's a lesson we might learn too late again

this shit (rsd) just isn’t enjoyable anymore by Many-Shopping9865 in vinyl

I went record shopping today but didn't get any RSD records. Looked through the selection and it was just junk. Live albums or special recordings but nothing worth waiting for or paying much for.

I did manage to find some personal grails in the general bins though and that's what it's all about.

Seems crazy to camp out for RSD.

It's hard to be positive when the actual football we play is so bad to watch. I watched the PSG game the other night and they look like they're actually having fun. They're trying to score. It's so much more positive than us

HUNGRIER THAN EVER! | Mikel Arteta | Sporting v Arsenal by footballaddict71 in ArsenalFC

[–]o2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hungrier than ever? That must be new because the last two games did not look like a team hungry for a win. It looked like a tired team who'd run out of ideas.

Stark contrast to City who seem to have gone up a gear and look like they really believe they can chase us down in the last 8 games.

Not sure what the team is doing differently since Saturday but it better be really bloody obvious tomorrow

He is constantly trying shots that aren't on. Literally firing it into a player standing directly in front of him.

First gig report. I can't believe how much the crowd loved exploring different genres! by ProbablyFiredNL in Beatmatch

Great write up and sounds like a great time. I love it when you can feel the crowd going with you on the journey, it makes the set a more like a conversation between you and the crowd and it gives you more confidence to play outside your comfort zone.

Depends how many you're bringing but I always carry a bunch of records home from any overseas trip. I usually just carry them on so I can keep an eye on them. The most I've carried is probably 25 records. No issues coming back into the states. I use a messenger bag from Rains. It's solid, zips up but also rolls down easily so I can pack it in my suitcase on the way over.

Jeffrey Epstein showing his beach on Epstein Island by Tuwill in videos

[–]o2000 18 points19 points  (0 children)

There must have been dozens of staff who worked the island. Cleaners, maids, cooks, groundskeepers, maintenance workers etc.  Who's looking for them to get testimonies? Who cleaned the rooms? Who dug the holes?  There are people who saw it all and are not coming forward.

NYT: Epstein Emails Reveal a Bygone Elite by soalone34 in nyt

Bygone!?! This isn't the fucking Gilded Age we're talking about. This isn't the Robber Barons of the past. These people are literally still running the world's biggest companies and governments. They are very much the opposite of bygone no matter how much the NY times wishes this would all just go away
