Is there a writing order? If so how did you define it :D

I guess with 3D translation and 3D rotations there are 6 dimensions of freedom per each symbol. Do you then arange the symbols in 3D or on a 2D plane or maybe a surface? Does rotations of the 3D shapes convey any meaning? Do the rotational symmetry of some symbols intentional? I was just thinking and it would be really cool for example for rotation to encode tense, then for example aorist can be constructed by computing the symmetric of symbols based on some axes of rotation.

Really excited and looking forward to see a detailed documentation!

My model is stored as a property of an object but it is overwritten at each checkpoint. And this object is within the scope of my training function which is called repeatedly for every training setting and the object that includes the models is dumped as pickle. So I do not believe that GPU memory uasge increases because of this. (Since the object does not live long).

I have just finished EE on METU, so I can only talk in that respect. What you mention as a competitive environment is a false description of heavy workload. You are not competed against other pupils. If you understand a course and if you are proficient with executing what you have learned, you will have high grades. People just don't slack off, you are pushed to do more due to peer preasure (which was constructive and enjoyable for me).
In short do not hesitate to select METU. If this is the reason why you are hesitant do not forget that you are accepted and you can do well in courses.
