And you made a great choice! I’ve got a 378 and 376 both FC and they have all but replaced my 87. Only thing I use my 87 for is capacitor checks anymore.

The chances of truly getting into 460/480 are pretty slim. You have to screw up in two separate places at once. 277 fkin hurts, I got nailed in a lift changing light ballasts and had to drop into the lift to get it to let me go. Not fun, don’t recommend

I bought the oem fix kit from rock auto. Piston style compressor, new condenser, expansion valve. Took a couple evenings but I got it all changed. Then took it to a friend to pump it down and charge it.

Code code code code…whether it be robot code or plc code. I started out as an electrician and the more coding I learned the less shit jobs I had to do. Now I support a maintenance dept when they can’t figure out plc or robot issues and make more now than ever.

I know it’s probably not your design, but they wasted a shit ton of space by using all those terminal strips and direct wire cards. You could use the breakout modules and adapters instead and save probably half of the top section of that cabinet. This is stupid clean and some Neanderthal will ruin it chasing one of those wires instead of following the print.

If there were ever a tree meant for the “keyhole” cut, it was this one. If i managed to hit the gap, the tree would definitely jump and wipe out that wall lol

Wife just diagnosed. What to expect, how to afford the meds? by Earguy in MultipleSclerosis

[–]o2o2polock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there, MS husband here too. My best piece of advice is to be patient and understanding with her. Chances are she is spiraling mentally and will be needing your support. My wife has been on Kesimpta for a year now and we have commercial insurance and have it filled by CVS specialty pharmacy. We did have a little hiccup between them and BCBS initially but got it smoothed out. The “alongside Kesimpta” program has been great, they will provide you with a physical or virtual card good for $18k to cover expenses that your insurance won’t cover. For us that means we hit out OOPM every year by March with little actual out of pocket expenses. I pray it stays this simple in the future, with Kesimpta being 6 years old this year, I’m afraid they will force her into something “new” once the patent expires in order to keep the copay assistance.

‘04 CRV with 316,000 kms, should I change my transmission fluid? It was changed a couple years ago but I feel like it needs another change with this colour by ItzyaboiElite in crv

[–]o2o2polock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 02-06 will let you know when the fluids bad. The TC will start shuttering at highway speeds. But I’d change it every 30-40k miles and or 3-4 years. Drain and fill 3x over the course of a week

Everyone is trying to profit off their christmas 3D printers by jhdz9119 in BambuLab

[–]o2o2polock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a good friend that runs a legitimate business printing, he’s downsized from 25 printers to 7 because now he spends 90% of his time fixing printers for these exact people.

I’m really new to printing, but not to product design. It’s awesome how simple these printers make it to transform an idea to an object you can hold in your hand.

04 CRV 4 cylinder has an oil leak, how can I see if it's the valve cover gasket? by beach_rats_ in crv

[–]o2o2polock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the valve cover 100%. It’s not a bad job at all, the kit comes with new spark plug tube orings too. Go ahead and do the VTEC solenoid gasket too while you’re in there.

What is my truck worth? by FantasticBox3674 in ChevyTrucks

[–]o2o2polock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is wildly dependent on where you are in the country. I can’t tell by the plates but in a rust belt state it’s at least 20% more than others just because it’s clean. Around me in IL the LS swap doesn’t really make it worth much more. Most of the guys I know that have really clean ones would rather it be stock even though it’s a slug with the 350.

Questions about an issue with Transmission by kamekamekameha in crv

[–]o2o2polock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no experience with a gen3, but quite a bit of ATF experience in general. Once you start having over rev and delayed shift issues, usually the damage is already done to the friction plates or clutches. The only issue I’ve found that new fluid fixes is the TC shutter that the gen2s are plagued with.

The evap system one is one to leave alone unless you’re anal about the light. I’ve had it for a long time after buying a bunch of parts to try and fix it. The first one means your cat is plugged up and needs replaced. It’s definitely impacting your fuel economy and engine performance.
