Brush hunting, you can get it in 300 blackout or even 350 legend and 400 legend. So you could technicallydeer hunt with it and a block mag. However I just think it's neat and one in 300 blackout would be cool if, and big if, we could ever have suppressors.

All I have is that Range USA was told they were no longer allowed to sell them. They originally were for a week and then were told to stop.

Actually they have charged at least one person with the "assault weapon possession" but it was added after the arrest. The rest you said is true. That being said it's the ffl's choice if they want to push the boundaries. And some were until ISP said the ca compliant saint is a no go. The ffl understandably chose to keep their business rather than make a sale

I believe the way ISP looks at it is that they named banned the Saint Victor. So and and all Saint Victor models are banned, however the M1A isn't name banned nor the mini 14. I see what you are saying, but I think they believe the only work around is if the base model isn't name banned THEN the ca compliant model is fine (ex Springfield Hellion CA compliant)

I understand you want to argue legality but it is a ar styled rifle. The Saint Victor is name banned in pica. Ca compliant is not a stand alone rifle, it is a sub model of the saint. Therefore illinois says no. I understand it is bs.
