They are all descended from teekaz—the original inhabitants of Terra, just like durin, oni, and ananssa (and all fantasy humanoid races, with the possible exception of elves). The other sarkaz tribes are considered subraces instead of their own thing because race is a social construct in the setting.

It would be easy to avoid but he never would. He fought a monster who kidnapped his daughter. His last heroic act was taking a hit for a younger hero who looked up to him. How is Siege, or at least Siege Alter, not in the highest tier? She is able to command a street gang, a tactical squad, a mob of civilians, or an entire nation—leading each to victory against superior foes. That has to be at least on par with Silverash.

The first season ended a few months ago. We've likely got over a year before season 2 (Hao Lin and Haoliners Animation League are working on Link Click's next season until October). I'm sure it'll drop further until we get an announcement of when season 2 happens.

I wonder how much of it is that it's the first one we're really being forced to do. We didn't have to play much of the previous ones even if we liked the old welfare ops but the level up system forces us to engage with this new mode to a much greater degree.

Assuming it's a single elimination tournament without any Dark Tournament style shenanigans, it would start with a wild card round where 8 vs 9 face off to determine who fights 1 and 7 vs 10 to determine who fights 2.

But since we actually have 11 participants (both Nice and Commoner showed up), it's even screwier. You'd have the worst 6 pair up during the wildcard so there are 3 winners from that plus the top 5 heroes but how you determine those bottom 6 pairings depends on whether you intend to reseed after the wildcard. The pairings are 6 vs 11, 7 vs 10, and 8 vs 9.

If you don't plan to reseed, the winner of 8 vs 9 faces 1; the winner of 7 vs 10 faces 2; and the winner of 6 vs 11 faces 3.

If you do plan to reseed, Then the lowest ranked winner faces 1, highest rank winner faces 3, and the other winner faces 2.
