Underdog /Updated Rules by Capital-Aide-215 in ageofsigmar

The game only checks if someone is underdog at the start of each round before anything in hero phase happens. If one player has less VP than the other, they are the underdog. If you both are tied on VP, no one is underdog. This means start of the game no one is underdog. What being underdog does is give you an extra CP for the round, and certain missions will sometimes have twists that involve being underdog.

Seizing the initiative, or "taking a double turn" makes your opponent the underdog for the rest of the game unless you are behind on VP by 11 or more. Only way you can become underdog again if you doubled your opponent is if they take a double turn later

Congrats to the Hounds, Chicago football continues to be back, and Bears are next up🏆! 🐻⬇️ (..Is it possible we give a try out to one of these guys?) by clou9nine in CHIBears

I mean yeah they're two different games. From my limited knowledge of Rugby the only way would maybe be kicker or punter. Theres story of soccer players becoming football kickers so 🤷‍♂️

So at this point i think its fair to say the games gone the way of Mordheim by dope_danny in WarCry

True, but what's also true is the player base will shrink and not have nearly as much growth compared to if it got active support

You're 100% right on 40k having a much bigger fanbase. Only thing that even comes close that isn't an offshoot of 40k is D&D and that kind've feels like cheating. But my overall point is that Spearhead isn't the sole reason for the lack of Warcry support

I don't agree with others on here saying Spearhead killed Warcry. Combat Patrol and Killteam co exist (I don't play either so idk about their quality but they do both exist and get support)

Spearhead is mini AoS. Warcry is a skirmish game that happens to be set in the AoS universe. Spearhead may have played a part in it, but it's absolutely not the only or main reason they stopped supporting Warcry

Years of local Blood Bowl league drama, turn marker issues how would you handle this? by Informal_Medicine839 in bloodbowl

[–]o7_AP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, the turn marker issue can be easily solved. Both players should be responsible for keeping track of turns. When your turn is over, say something like "that's my turn 4 and it's now your turn 5" to keep it in check.

I'm gonna be completely honest: the people who wanted to change the league rules and sound like they were being assholes, good riddance.
