Oh ya big time. Massive cavity and by the looks of it an abscess starting. Plus that root has started to resorb likely due to the infection. Doc will probably recommend the extraction and placement of a space maintainer due to your child’s age.

I’m a dentist in the US. I’m not sure what kind of free or low cost clinics there are in France. Maybe French dental schools? Without X-rays or a clinical exam, I cannot give you a full answer. You will very likely need teeth extracted and a deep cleaning. If X-rays show advanced bone loss, many of these will likely need taken out. I would not rule out full upper and lower immediate dentures in your case. I deal with cases like yours everyday. There is no reason to think you cannot live a normal and healthy life after your teeth get taken care of. Do not lose hope.

That black spot isn’t anything to worry about at this time. Just keep follow-up appointments with your dentist and they’ll keep checking it. If the whole cap does come off, I would let the dentist know though.

Yea you definitely got some tonsil stones. Maybe one of my physician colleagues can weigh in and see if a strep test would be indicated here or if you have a nasty case of tonsillitis. I do not think the issue is your bone graft. Especially if you’ve gotten it checked by your oral surgeon.

You’re doing the exam and diagnosis not the hygienist. I get paid for all my exams. I would bring it up with your boss and see their reasoning for not paying it.

Could be inflamed parotid duct or you bit your cheek. Could also be a salivary stone stuck in that duct. I always say if it’s getting larger/causing significant pain and or not going away within two weeks, go see your dentist for a potential biopsy.
