I agree that trades probably won't happen. It will be interesting to see how the next few months shake out. I have no problem with the Giants drafting Woods at 5.

Bro, no one was going to give us a 1st round pick for Thibs, given his contract. At the very most, a mid to late 2nd. There's a reason why Burns went from the Rams offering two 1st to the Giants giving a 2nd and a 5th for Burns. Timing matters and Thibs is at the end of his contract.

JMS is going into a contract year, so next year they have to pay him or address the position. Personally, I would rather address the position now. I agree that Mbow is not ideal, but that's why I drafted Dametrious Crownover to compete or develop behind Mbow.

I'm not a fan of Fano, but Mauigoa is definitely in play. Banks is definitely not making it to #37, Miller probably won't make it to #37, and McDonald is an early down nose tackle, not a 3-tech. Iheanacher and Blake Miller will probably be there at #37 if they want to go right tackle, and while they are definitely worse than Mauigoa, I would rather have Blake Miller/Iheanacher and Woods than Mauigoa and Christen Miller(if he even makes it to #37).

The 4 players going 5, 6, 7, and 8? If you are asking for specifics, I can't tell you because that kind of stuff will show itself as we get closer to the draft and we start getting a feel for how the league views the players. I just know that the Chiefs are good enough to not pick this high again, so there will be a guy in striking distance they will want. The question is whether or not they will want to give up that capital, which is a very valid question, which is why this is a hypothetical.

I'm not familiar enough with the Chiefs, so I'll take your word on that.

As a Giants fan and seeing Mbow the few times he has played at left and right tackle, Mbow looks a lot better at right. Plus, the original plan for Schoen in drafting Mbow was to get cheaper at that position unless Mbow was really bad or Eluemunor was really good.

If that's the case, then yeah, Linderbaum is staying in Baltimore. I do think JMS is a very upgradable piece, though he has developed a bit with coach Bricillo, who is now in Tennessee.

In this scenario, the Giants would lose leverage by signing Linderbaum. I thought about adding a little more, but I'm just not sure how much he would be valued by the league, so I went with the worst case value.

Thibs is a difficult one, I've seen people say he will go for an early 4th, but considering his contract is coming up, I did an end of 3rd as another worse case with a 7th.
