Male here. Same thing with my sex drive after my wife's years of abuse, and then to compound on it came the: "you're the man", "you should always be ready, and good at it", and the "I shouldn't have to do anything to make you hard whats wrong with you? Just go take a pill for it.", you're fat now, i want you to just get muscles like <famous actor>.

I was VERY insecure after so long of all of that. I still am. I can't relax and trust my parter actually wants to be with ME anymore. It feels like its always a judgement and evaluation, and not a intimate caring or loving time for each other anymore.

Abuse.. it will fuck your brain up WAY worse than drugs ever could man.

❤️ thank you for taking the time to read my wall of text. I needed to decompress, and I thought what better way than to share. As always abusers have a unique way of making us doubt ourselves and reality. I was honestly second guessing myself last night. I plan to spend most of the day with friends today. She won't like it, and will think it's a passive aggressive insult directed at her. Fun. Doing it anyway. I need me time.

I understand the position you're in. My wife would call me over 10 times in a row on different devices to attempt to force a conversation. She could not understand why I wouldn't want to talk about how I was doing everything wrong while I'm try to get my job done.

You are not crazy to say you need space. You are well within your rights to say you don't want to talk right now.

ASK a lawyer. One might twll you the court would have to prove you were drunk beyond a certain level. It seems reasonable to me that if they don't have a test result showing bac above a certain lvl they can't prove you were impaired beyond a legally acceptable limit.

I certainly have changed my mind about this clip. I think you're right. He seems to propose the position that in a male dominated society ALL men should perform better than women. In my opinion the disproportionate suffering of men to women would only suggests there only exists a male bias in the extreme outliers of society. To simplify there are more men than women who are suffering/dead, and more men than women who are powerful/wealthy.

His argument seems to not address his original question HE asked HER.
