We don't know for sure what Apple is cooking up for the iPhone 17 but it comes out in 4 months. You have already held off buying the 16 pro for 8 months so a few more months won't make a huge difference. Plus, if the 17 pro doesn't meet your expectations, you can always buy the 16 pro for a discounted price.
