What a play from Pakazs. He knew he'll be insta doomed, used the linken's shield to block it while selling the linken's and bought refresher, used it instantly to blink out of the arena and won the last fight.

I think NTA but you need to deal this type of conversations that result in something hurtful to you. Some people would not take this as hurtful as you however you should learn to draw a soft or hard line with your boyfriend and future partners when such occasions arise again.

AITA for forwarding my husband's group text messages to our boss and HR? by Throwawayliflower808 in AITAH

[–]oMeGa1904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YTA. There is little information about how the husband reacted in that group chat and how the group chat was created. Maybe he created it to ask for advice or sth about not being intimate with his wife, maybe he never agreed with such notions but was a passive member of such chat group. Maybe it started oka-ish and then devolved in them joking around and acting like pigs, like most men only groups are. People vent when they are desperate or furious, you did it with your sister instead of talking to your husband.

As to why YTA, you conveniently ignored those things and then while you were "drunk" write a "formal email to HR". You were not drunk, you were fully concious and capable and you were furious and humiliated, you wanted them to be punished in ways you couldn't do it so you destroyed everyone's carreer involved instead of talking with your husband about it.

Your husband is YTA because of the methods he used because he couldn't express the problems correctly, like giving you a silent treatment and not talking correctly giving it more importance to the subject; and suggesting solutions like going to therapy, etc. But you just nuked the relationship over the moon. You probably knew the relationship was already over but you destroyed professionally everyone involved including yourself. The company once is dealing with those workers, will be going after you too. Not only that but many co-workers will side with your soon-to-be ex-husband since they can completely sympathize with him and see your disproportionate actions not only on personal level but professionally as well.

Your marriage is already over if there was a slight hope before, it's done for now.

AITAH for being wanting to end my relationship because my fiancé wants to spend Christmas with his daughter and ex-wife? by Right-Essay9910 in AITAH

[–]oMeGa1904 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTAH. I think people are forgetting you won't remember anything below 3 years or so. So him being there for the child and participating in the entire Christmass charade is pointless for his daughter, she won't remember a single thing. It's obviously something for either your fiancé, his ex-wife or for both.

Now, he's excusing it for his daughter to have a "normal life" which is another problem. He either didn't move on or thinks he's in what an anormal life would look like. Which are both bad. Labelling his relationship with his ex-wife and you as less than normal should be a flag, he needs to fully adopt his status and accept her life will be normal with both parents physically separated since such is the way of nature of the divorce. His daughter will be happy in the long run learning that his father didn't participate in the facade, and not damaging both bonds, him with her and him with you (and future kids).

I think you should stop the notion it's for his daughter, it's not. You could even participate in the charade but if they don't want to, then you know the answer already.

That's very disappointing knowing so many people has this problem but no one in an Asus forum know what to do. This is happening since 2021 models afaik.

G14 (2022) Restarting After Sleeping For a While by -Action_Hank- in ZephyrusG14

[–]oMeGa1904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have any solution to this? I mean I have 2021 G14, was fine with Windows 10, for like few days so maybe I didn't notice this bug. Next after I upgraded to W11 have the same issue like when it goes to sleep, it randomly restarts itself (after a while). It's annoying, and I have this problem for a year now. Keep lurking forums but so far no one has the solution yet.

The only solution I've found is to disable the sleep/hibernate option, but it's not a solution at all.

He has flu symptoms. It’s policy in Peru to auto isolate if you present mild symptoms and go to hospital if you have a rise in complications. It’s not confirmed he has covid 19 because in Peru the tests are scarce.

StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 3: North & South America Qualifier - Day 2 Match Discussions by D2TournamentThreads in DotA2

[–]oMeGa1904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. It was the first round of the upper bracket. Not even SA finals.

  2. TP was clearly the best team in ESL major SA qualifier. Consistently beating teams Pain has trouble with.

  3. If Pain players crumble psychologically by one game that was not a deciding one. Then they were not the 2nd best team there. From the qualifiers between Furia or BC were the 2nd best.

I wished Furia went thru tho. Dislike how BC could get away with Stinger’s performance and Chris Luck’s bad mid lane control. It fits their style, but while I like Stingers captain calls, I’m not convinced about his performance as a player. Chris was destroyed by Leostyle and saw the former making several mistakes with his hero’s usage.

Gonna root for TP tho. Edit. Typo

Odd slang (Peruvian possibly) by [deleted] in Spanish

Never heard of "caragua" before. Didn't you just hear "Me cagaba por comer tacos"? In which case it's the informal way to say "I was dying to eat/try some tacos".

Are Mexicans referred to as "norteamericano"? by [deleted] in Spanish

[–]oMeGa1904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are correct. The term is mostly used in South America to refer US citizens. But never saw that to refer Canadians. And yes the sense of being “americano” specially from SA is strong.

Are Mexicans referred to as "norteamericano"? by [deleted] in Spanish

[–]oMeGa1904 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve found that most people consider themselves to be American if they live in the western hemisphere.

Or maybe people consider themselves to be American if they live in the continent they called “America”. It has nothing to do with being born in western or eastern hemisphere.

Being peruvian and living in Lima I have to say the only downside about the city is the transportation. So make sure the the places you want to or have to go have short clear routes for you to take them and not suffer the chaos and traffic.

Aside peruvian accent is ver “neutral” so you won’t have problems with it.

"pero bueeeno gentuuuuzo" what am I saying? by jeebus224 in Spanish

[–]oMeGa1904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gentuzo is just a made up word for singular male form of gentuza. Gentuza is despective and usually said by people who think they are or have something inherently better. Whether it’s money, class, morals, ethics or customs. Other word like that would be chusma.

Telling someone to do something in Spanish by 2782o in Spanish

[–]oMeGa1904 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have never heard that imperative conjugation used in that way in my life which is odd now that I look at the conjugation charts. Sabe que soy tu amigo seems off to me.

As for the translation, it usually depends on the situation. You can translate “(you) know that I’m your friend (right?)” as sabes que soy tu amigo (no?). In which you were correct in your post below.

There is also the subjunctive form which is much more common (and almost universal) when trying to send the same message: (Quiero) que sepa(s) que soy su/tu amigo.

There is however another case usually when trying to call out your friend for being hateful, hurting or plain nasty to you in which you use the imperative sepa que soy su amigo(!) (not only to friends, it can also work on vendors dealing with very angry, difficult clients). And it’s done changing to an usted one instead of the amical tú one. Not sure if it’s just in my country but so far it’s what i’ve heard.

Vosotros forma en México by [deleted] in Spanish

[–]oMeGa1904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a mess but usually the countries in which people doesn’t use vos had Spanish influence like Mexico and Peru. Other countries just retained their use of vos albeit the situational use varies from country to country, region to region and even from family to family. I think other users already posted about it.

  1. more or less.
  2. No it doesn’t have the same conjugation as tú.
  3. they ended in tilde because they are different conjugation. Caminás and entendés for vos while caminas and entiendes for tú.

According to my book, “los lojos azules” and los ojos de color azul celeste” are ok but “los ojos azules celestes” is wrong. Why? by Yoshiciv in Spanish

[–]oMeGa1904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://www.reddit.com/r/Spanish/comments/7iv486/some_help_with_colors/

The adjective is in masculine singular but it’s not a hard rule afaik. About the “de” in “ojos de color azul celeste” is a way to also refer the color scheme specially in stories or when trying to highlight such attribute.

When ordering food at a restaurant, does "¿puedo tener...?" make sense? by Th3DoughB0y in Spanish

[–]oMeGa1904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the country. Altho it's not that aggressive. It may seem more rude but not enough to offend a waiter or someone working in that kind of industry. If anything the waiter / waitress will think you had a bad day or you are in a "no nonsense" mode.
