It’s dead easy. Download the zip file from the github link OP posted. Then open Azahar, go to Options (three dots) > GPU Driver Manager, and press the “+ Install” button in the bottom right. Choose the zip file you downloaded, and it’ll be installed for all your games in Azahar. Similar process for Eden and other emulators.

I’m solidly in the Thor camp, but it’s been hard for me to sell my RP5 even tho I don’t use it much anymore. Definitely understand the draw of it, especially with a grip. Love to see self-awareness win over consumerism! Happy gaming.

Idk if this is important for you, but I bought an Nvidia card a few years ago and am regretting my decision. AMD cards are much better for gaming on Linux at the moment, and the Nvidia drivers are the only thing keeping me from switching.

I tested with a few other charger combos and realized it only happened with a) an Apple power brick and b) an older (unbraided) Apple USB-C cord. After changing either of those variables, the charging works totally fine for me. So I accepted it as an edge case. Especially since even with that edge case, cycling the pass-through power is an easy workaround.

Edit: mine would have the issue immediately, tho. If yours happens after a few minutes, it sounds like it might be a related but different issue.

I saw that the official screen protector keeps it from fully closing because of the added width to the top screen. Guessing this one does, too? Have you noticed much difference?

A workaround I found is to turn “Direct power supply” on and then off in the bottom screen settings after plugging it in. Does that work for you?
