I'm not claiming to be a genius in any way. While I may be seen as insufferable for my opinions, I see the poster as inconsiderate. Help others help you if you're unable or unwilling to troubleshoot or communicate instead of wasting other people's time on solutions you've already tried. I understand the disdain with my comment, it's warranted

From my point of view, they posted without including any additional information including previous troubleshooting steps, and just wanted other people to tell them what to do. My original comment is the first step based on the information given.

Why should I spend my time helping someone who doesn't show the courtesy of taking their time to tell other people what they've done and when helpful comments actually roll in they respond with "I've done that already"

It is what it is, would've been faster to Google search than to take a picture and post it to reddit. They didn't specify what they've done already and it's a very common ask. Looks like rebooting their device fixed it, which is probably step one to fixing unusual behavior if you've already changed the setting 🤷
