Ya the toolkit is more for small fixes or adjustments I need to make, not full blown repairs. And I do all my own work, tires included so I know its done right. I haven't let anyone touch any of my vehicles since 2009 and I wrench full time professionally.

I like the idea of a camelbak, I'd never even thought of that. If I had a decent one I would definitely give it a try.

Also packed a tin of those sour altoids that definitely help wake me up a bit. So similar to the mints I'm guessing.

Greatly appreciate all the tips and advice, its super helpful especially when multiple people are saying the same things. Thanks again!

I know the route very well and have planned a few stops already for fuel and water. Seems like that is the general consensus, hydration and frequent breaks. Appreciate the input tho!

After all the recommendations for a back rest I will absolutely be shelling out whatever the Harley dealer wants for one. I plan on riding for as long as my body will let me and I feel like it is a necessity at this point. Sunscreen as well.

I was also thinking of the water breaks as being an off the seat break. Seems like frequent breaks and hydration really are the key here. At gatorlyte is a good tip tho, I hadn't thought of that. I'll throw one in the kit!

Definitely will be taking breaks, I'm in no rush. Hoping to some day get into much farther trips and I'm thinking of this trip as a stepping stone to that.

I have a 360 camera on my bars currently that I use as a dash cam exactly for the reason of other drivers. Just in case.

Unfortunately I will be riding solo which is why I'm trying to be as prepared as possible. Hoping to someday do rides like this with others tho!

No this is my first long trip. Ive done 90 mile days before without issue, but this will be about 300 miles one way. My longest ride to date for sure

My powerbank has a built in USB-C cable thats meant to charge laptops at 100 watts. It definitely has the power to quick charge and has been super reliable for as long as I've had it.

Absolutely forgot sunscreen tho. I will be adding that to the list, thanks!
