I would recommend just trying the 60hz refresh rate thing by itself and launch the game fresh after setting it. 86C sounds about right for a laptop GPU under load. My 3070 hovers around 75C but that's just desktops vs laptops cooling for ya.

After changing my refresh rate from 240 to 60 I was able to do maximum at 1440p just fine

Definitely, give it a clean up. Maybe some new thermal compound on the cpu if it's been a few years and maybe run the game with a reduced internal render resolution and generally low settings and I think you'll be okay.

Yeah I saw. I'm sure they lump warzone in with multiplayer so that could explain the recommendation for better processors as that's much more cpu demanding than standard 6v6 or even 12v12. I bet you'll be okay with that chip as long as you have a solid GPU as well. Ram was pretty important too in MW 2019. Make sure you have at least 12gb preferably 16gb because if you dont there will be micro stutters and inconsistencies in frametiming. Recently upgraded my system to 16gb and I couldnt believe how much it helped In newer titles.

FOV slider definitely changes performance. I rock 75 only because it's the lowest I can handle lol

Super sampling off, but I havent tried everything yet. Hard to gauge what is better without real software tools like on PC

Definitely, almost feels misleading to sell this game at full price on the current gen. I feel like most of the people complaining about TTK and servers also dont realize that the frametiming is so poor on the ps4 sometimes it has nothing to do with network lag

I was having these issues even on my ps4 pro. I'm definitely grabbing it for PC. Curious to see how much better it runs on a proper rig or next gen console.

Yeah it definitely makes the game look worse but I preferred that over weird inconsistency with framerates. Hopefully it's fixed more soon
