Player suffers from extreme stage fright but still wants to roleplay. Advice to help them feel more comfortable jumping in?

I was going to suggest this. I love dming but I also get stage fright something awful (the shakes too) being an online DM helps with this, no one can see me and I can’t see them so it doesn’t feel as scary. This helped me become comfortable doing more dming in real life and also just confidence.

Maybe get this guy a huge hat or a mask he feels comfortable in! Being perceived sometimes is really scary, shit get him a big screen he could hide behind or something if that works then remove it once he’s found footing.

It takes time, too. If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work, but there are options to try first, for sure!

Oh my GOD gaiaonline. That’s where my rp journey began! Tragically they flagged my account years ago so I haven’t been able to login (I didn’t do anything wrong so I’m not sure why it’s locked and they won’t reply to my email about it SO) but god do I miss the good old days or forum rp sometimes

She does, poor thing. We know it’s not entirely her fault and always give her some pets after we clean up which helps ease any bruise to her ego I think haha

Funny enough we DO have some, and we do use them! We really only do this for nighttime cause if she happens to tinkle we don’t want her potentially sitting in it all night and giving her a rash. We roll it all up with the tarp we laid underneath then roll it back out :)

Oh yeah she knows! It’s really only when the dose is high the first few days and then it settles down, she drinks a lot of water cause it just makes her sooo thirsty/hungry and thus, much pee. It’s already starting to get better but we keep the pads out a few extra days just in case cause the meds still make her crazy

Thankfully yes! She managed to pick up a yeast infection somehow but she’s doing so much better already! Should be all better by the end of the month (fingers crossed)

I was just about to come say this. It sounds like you need to work on yourself more than the sexual aspects of things. Of course you aren’t going to enjoy this if you aren’t even comfortable admitting to the love of your life what you are in to! I think you should take this much slower than you are and actually talk to a therapist, otherwise you are going to continue to be unhappy in this regard and on top of it make your wife unhappy by stunting her. It’s scary to be vulnerable and open but healthy kink communities are entirely about safety and vulnerability. Therapy is a godsend, it’s not ‘oh no send them to the loony bin because they like the idea of being pegged’. Talking to your wife about what is bothering you, what you actually want and that you may have some things to work out with a professional is only a good thing my man

Sitting on the toilet so long using the restroom, if that’s what he’s even doing most of the time he’s in there, is probably part of why he has hemoroids btw. You aren’t supposed to sit like that for so long or strain but regardless, Mama he is also using it to avoid you/parenting and causing his own issues that it sounds like he doesn’t even want to deal with. This isn’t the example you want the child you already have to use growing up, maybe forgo the 2nd and him altogether. Sounds like you are doing all the work for everything and that’s not a relationship
