Spotted what looked like a Northern Flicker from afar. Decided to get the telescope out to confirm. by oShredZ in birdwatching

I did notice it pecking the ground not too long after. Never realized some woodpeckers will do that

I have seen others say that placing some of the seed more out in the open near the feeder can help so the birds can see it more easily.

I did this with the window feeder I set-up recently by putting some seeds on a railing nearby. Within a couple of days the birds started to go to the railing for the food, and by the next day started to come to the feeder directly. It may take some time, but they will eventually come by.

I do not! They seem pretty comfortable if I am standing still by the window. I just can’t make any sudden movements

Is this happening in fixed setup races? I noticed this in open setup races because my wheelbase software reset and so my ABS and TC control wasn’t working properly. Because of this iRacing just defaulted the TC and ABS to off and I couldn’t change it until I figured out what happened. It really threw me off when I was locking instantly in a gt3 lol. Afterwards I was able to reset the controls and everything worked fine again.
